Ancient Greece This half term our topic is Ancient Greece. This wondefully thought provoking and intruiging subject allows us to take a close look at one of the most important civilisations in history. We will explore the incredible myths, brilliant battles and incredible ways of Ancient Greek life. I'm sure this subject will excite the children and spark their curiosity for times past and I also look forward to seeing the fantastic homework that they children will bring to school.

Guided Reading

3 times a week we have a guided reading session for 30 minutes. The 5 different groups all have a chance to work with Mr Bradford or Miss Sharma at least once a week. This gives the adults  the chance to hear the children read aloud, allowing us to maintain a better understanding of every child's reading strengths and weaknesses. When the children are not working with an adult they will be completing reading tasks based on their book or free reading literature of their choice.
