P.E is on Tuesday and all children are required to wear the correct Broadfields P.E kit. This consists of: white T-Shirt, navy or black shorts or tracksuit trousers. In the winter a navy jumper will be required.

The Global Holiday This half term our topic is The Global Holiday. This wondefully thought provoking and intruiging subject allows us to travel around the world and learn more about the various continents that make up the globe. We will explore the furthest depths of the planet. I'm sure this subject will excite the children and spark their curiosity for the world around them and I also look forward to seeing the fantastic homework that they children will bring to school.

Guided Reading

3 times a week we have a guided reading session for 30 minutes. The 5 different groups all have a chance to work with Mr Bradford or Miss Sharma at least once a week. This gives the adults  the chance to hear the children read aloud, allowing us to maintain a better understanding of every child's reading strengths and weaknesses. When the children are not working with an adult they will be completing reading tasks based on their book or free reading literature of their choice.
