Successful class management strategies and good communication skills are equally important.
Our teachers have high expectations, take responsibility for pupils’ progress and attainment, provide effective feed-back to children, colleagues, parents and senior leaders. They are team players within the year group team and in the wider life and ethos of our school.
At Broadfields, professional development is a driving force for improvement. We provide a range of opportunities to enable staff to keep their expertise up to date, staff learn from experienced colleagues in the school, as well as through sharing successful practice with other schools.
Broadfields is part of the WEBB partnership of schools based in West Barnet. The schools within the groups work together to train great teachers of the future and to support the quality of education across the west of Barnet.
