At Broadfields our children get involved in many activities and clubs outside of school to help enrich their lives and boost confidence.

Ballet
Kaleidoscope Theatre & Arts. Where children of all ages can learn to dance in a welcoming, professional, safe and fun environment. Give your child a chance to learn, develop and have fun with Kaleidoscope Theatre Arts in Edgware.
Hendon & Mill Hill Ballet School provide classical ballet lessons for children age 2 and a half to 16, training to exam level from beginner to pre-professional. Classes are taught through the Cecchetti Classical Ballet method, regulated by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), and are accompanied by a live pianist.
Susan Ford School of Dancing is a recommended professional dance school based in Hatfield. We offer a range of excellent dance classes including ballet, tap and modern jazz, for both adults and children. Our main objective is to generate a nurturing environment, encouraging our pupils to achieve their full potential. You will get ample opportunities to participate in shows and competitions. Dance examinations are also conducted for each batch.
West Hampstead School of Dance are the classical ballet school in North West London!
With studios in Hampstead, West Hampstead, Golders Green, Kilburn and Swiss Cottage, we specialize solely in classical ballet and following the RAD syllabus. Our highly qualified teachers, often with two working together in each class, are accompanied by pianists delivering inspiring classes, encouraging the love of dance.
Dance
Spotlight Performing Arts is a North London theatre school with a difference, we offer a fresh approach to the performing arts with an inspirational and dedicated team of professional teachers who will nurture young talent in a safe, fun and friendly atmosphere. Each one of our students is treated as an individual and the skills that they learn will help them throughout their life. Our students are happy, confident and enthusiastic. Of course the priority at Spotlight is always to have fun!
Drama
Bodens Drama School, at the weekends, In Enfield or Barnet, we offer performing arts courses for young people aged 7 - 16 years. They work in groups of eighteen in the same age range on acting, applied theatre, singing and dancing. In acting we cover a range of practitioners and methods. In singing we work on technique and performance, using a repertoire of musical theatre and popular music. In dance we develop ability, knowledge of movement and choreographic skills, through modern, musical theatre, contemporary, urban and commercial dance. Classes last for three hours and regularly work towards performances.
Perform is a different type of drama school. Who use a unique mix of drama, dance and singing - specially developed and written by us - to bring out every child's true potential.
Classes are kept small to ensure lots of individual attention by our experienced teachers. They'll focus on your child's enthusiasm and engagement in the activities rather than their precision and ability to learn moves.
Music
The Ebony & Ivory Music School offers tuition in a wide range of musical instruments and genres. We have 27 fully qualified & CRB checked teachers who teach around 600 music lessons a week at our premises in Colindale, North-West London.
JCM Music School offer tuition on a variety of popular instruments including guitar, piano, singing, and percussion.
The teachers are well-qualified, approachable, and enthusiastic about their work. We are dedicated to providing quality musical education and our knowledge is backed by years of teaching and performance experience. All of us are fully CRB checked.
We welcome pupils of all ages and abilities, offering tuition from beginner level to advanced studies. We try to tailor our approach to your requirements, whether your goal is pursue a career in music, achieve graded exams, or simply learn to play with ease and confidence.
Scouts
There are hundreds of Scout groups around the country and lots of local ones too. Two popular local ones with our pupils are:

Scouting is split into three age groups:
Beavers is for 6-8 year-olds
Cubs is for 8-10½ year-olds
Scouts is for 10-14½ year-olds
Scouts offers challenge and adventure to 400,000 young people and 100,000 adults across the UK. We believe in helping our Members fulfil their potential by working in teams, learning by doing and thinking for themselves. We give people of every background the chance to stretch themselves, learn new skills and make life long friends.
Gymnastics
Harrow School of gymnastics provide a safe and stimulating environment for gymnastics classes at all levels, from Pre-School to Adult Gym. Most of those involved enjoy recreational Gymnastics working for British Gymnastics awards and competing in the Club Championships. The performance section comprising Women's Artistic and Men's Artistic, gives an opportunity for talented gymnasts to compete within the Club, at Regional, National and International levels.
Hendon Gymnastics Club is a highly renowned, professionally coached gymnastics club operated from within Hendon Leisure Centre. With their purpose-built multi-functional gymnasium, Hendon Gymnastics Club are able to train and coach from junior and youth levels to adults. Hendon Gymnastics Club is able to cater from beginners to elite gymnastics and have highly skilled coaches to appropriately and effectively coach them through long term development.
Karate
Tishka Karate is taught in 5 locations Mill Hill, Edgware, Hendon, Finchley & Hornsey. All the five clubs were are under the instruction of Mr C Gregory (5th Dan), who started karate at the age of 14. Our club members come from varied backgrounds and started karate for many different reasons eg. Fitness, Confidence, Discipline, Self Defence, Bullying or just social. Currently we have a good balance of adults (male and Female) and children from Beginner to Red Belts.
Harrow Choi Kwang Do school is a centre of excellence for the study of Choi Kwang Do, a modern martial art which emphasizes the ideal of personal and social development over sports competition.

Tennis
Top Shot Tennis uses LTA qualified coaches to provide high quality, great fun tennis coaching using the latest tennis equipment to help people get the most out of tennis.

The Saracens Rugby Camp programme has courses available for all mini and junior playing age groups and provides organised, educational, inclusive and structured activities. Utilising our experienced, qualified and award winning coaches from the Saracens Rugby Development Team, we are able to incorporate a vast range of techniques and skills included in the ever evolving game of rugby
Swimming & Sports Centres
The Aspire Leisure Centre was the first fully accessible Training Centre in Europe for disabled and non-disabled people.
Currently, around a third of the members are disabled, which compares with a national average of 2-3% in other sports centres. We proactively encourage disabled people to join and take part in all activities by subsidising their membership and activity costs and offer a fully Inclusive Fitness Initiative approved fitness studio.
Swimming Lessons are provided in a calm and relaxed environment where your child can learn to swim or improve their technique. All our swimming instructors are qualified to ASA standard so you can feel secure in the knowledge that they are in safe hands and learning from the experts.
The Venue is a great place to get fit, have fun and meet friends or Pop in for a swim, The Venue is also complemented by a 25m Swimming Pool, Teaching Pool, Crèche and Soft Play. We have a wide programme of activities for all ages & abilities.
The St Margaret’s Sports Centre is a modern and well equipped sports facility that caters for a wide range of sports and leisure activities as well as offering an extensive range of courses and qualification opportunities. Set in idyllic surroundings the facilities include a large Main Hall, multi-purpose studio, fully equipped Fitness Studio, indoor and outdoor Netball courts and a heated 25m luxury swimming pool.
Barnet Copthall Swimming Club has an environment where all swimmers, both young and old, can enjoy, participate and compete in all swimming disciplines, in surroundings where they can develop friendship, sportsmanship, responsibility, dedication and self discipline.
A great many of our swimmers have and continue to represent their chosen countries at all major international championships. They have shown commitment and dedication that extends in life during and beyond their swimming career

The long established Mll Hill School of Swimming, now operating in a newly built competition sized pool, offers lessons to children (from the ages of 3 and up) and adults of any range and ability.
Football
Little Kickers gives children a positive introduction to sport by teaching high quality football skills in a friendly, pressure-free environment.
There are four different classes tailored specifically to the needs of children between 18 months and seven years of age.
It’s the perfect way to ignite an enthusiasm for sport that will stay with them for life.
Excel Sport are keen to coach children of all standards and abilities. At Excel Sport F.C. all children are welcome, we really do cater for the complete beginner to the budding superstar.
Excel Sport is recognised as a respected training ground and maintains strong links with the following Professional Clubs; Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Fulham & Watford. Each season a number of our children will go on to train at this level, however, the vast majority come to Excel to learn the game and improve their skills for their own enjoyment or to compete at school or club level.
Our ethos has always been to provide football coaching to children of all standards and abilities, to build confidence whilst learning new skills and above all to have lots of fun.
